BF6 BR Mode Launches This Week as a F2P Experience

After quite some time of anticipation, the BR experience for BF6 is at last releasing. Recent speculation suggesting its release would align with the first season were accurate. Fans can access the mode starting very soon.

Season 1 Adding a Brand-New Arena, Style, and Guns

In tandem with the BR mode, the first season is also kicking off. This brings a new map, a new mode, and an expanded arsenal. On top of that, the Redacted Sector is arriving. An included teaser will become available at go-live, providing players a taste of what's to come.

Complimentary Model Enables Battle Royale Open to Everyone

Possibly the biggest announcement is that this new experience will be free-to-play. Similar to established titles, you don't have to buy the main title to join in. Some gamers have already experienced early versions of the mode. Those playtests were run in a collaborative space, which the developers described as their largest fan involvement initiative.

The adrenaline rush while fighting another squad is unique in any other battle royale. It feels do or die, and you really mind if you die or survive.
Although I was a snob beforehand, I'm completely for the battle royale after playing it.

Such first impressions from participants have been very positive. Naturally, the experience may have been adjusted over the last couple of months in terms of tuning and tempo. But, initial indicators are strong that the battle royale could emerge as a true rival to popular games. Some are wishing that the best guns from the original Battlefield 6 will be available in the new mode.
